Udne Ki Aasha Written Episode, Written Update
The episode begins with Sayali attempting to remain calm she asks Sachin to pledge not to stir up any drama over the false jewellery dilemma. Under persuasion from her, Sachin grudgingly decides to remain silent till Savitri Devi returns home. Paresh is in full celebratory mood. He’s busy decorating the house with balloons and streamers for Savitri’s birthday. Akash and Tejas step in to assist their father with the plans. What about Renuka? She could care less. She stays out of it, obviously not excited about throwing a party for her mother-in-law. Still, she can’t get over her curiosity where have Sachin and Sayali gone with all that jewellery? Tejas tries to reassure her, stating it’s not serious.
Sachin and Sayali return shortly afterwards. Just before entering, Sayali informs Sachin that there would be no drama and no truth bombs. They cannot afford to jeopardize Paresh’s happiness now. As soon as they arrive home, Sayali is assigned cooking responsibilities, while Sachin, visibly struggling to contain his rage, screams at Renuka and tells her to do her own work. He maintains a tight eye on Tejas, detecting his uneasiness. Paresh guesses they went out to buy a gift for Savitri, but Sachin simply claims they were somewhere else.
Elsewhere, Roshni wishes to get a thoughtful gift for Savitri, but Tejas is unwilling to spoil his grandma. Sachin realizes his brothers will most certainly acquire gifts for her, but he is left empty-handed. The guilt aches. Sayali tells him again: he must remain calm or risk causing another storm in the house.
The following day, Sachin travels to the village to bring Savitri Devi home. She notices something strange about his demeanor her cherished grandson isn’t his regular self. She attempts to read his expression, but Sachin, still holding onto his vow to Sayali, doesn’t say anything. But Savitri feels something is awry.
Back to Paresh’s place, Savitri is caught away by her birthday gift. The decorations, the warmth, the smiles—it all brings a genuine grin to her face. Each member of the family expresses their hopes for her. Everyone except Renuka, who fails to show up at first. After some time, she emerges with a puja dish and accepts Savitri’s blessings.
Savitri has come carrying her own gifts for the family. Renuka, understandably, is intrigued, but no one tells her much. Savitri then jokingly announces that the best gift-giver today would earn a special prize from her. The enthusiasm builds up—but not for Sachin. He is drowning in regret. He was unable to purchase even a simple gold chain for his grandma. He feels guilty.
